A mid- to late-18th century hunting frock.


It's interesting to compare this to a modern hunting coat-- do you notice that the basic functionality of this garment hasn't changed much? The fringe on this wicks water away, a function accomplished by the waxed cotton or nylon composition of modern hunting coats.
